Given everything that’s happened, in the NBA world, since Sunday, it’s easy to forget the season is still going on. Before Kobe Bryant passed away, his protege, Giannis Antetokounmpo, was on an incredible run. A year after winning the MVP, he is making history, with the Bucks.
Last season, Giannis led Milwaukee to the NBA’s best record, at 60-22, where the Bucks made it to the Conference Finals. Kawhi Leonard ended their run, after a 2-0 start, against the Raptors. Seeking redemption, the Bucks have been on a tear.
Tonight, Giannis was ruled out, against the Washington Wizards, due to his shoulder injury. Because the Bucks are still a good team, and that the Wizards are still struggling, fans expected a win. But, Twitter was absolutely shocked to see the Bucks drop 88 points in the first half, without Giannis, tonight.
