For all of the cruelty in the world, there are some bright spots. Furthermore, there are some good people out here. In the midst of all of the bad news out there, some people are out here being good news. One woman decided to combat the hunger by starting her own garden. This garden was feeding people, free of charge. Apparently, someone didn’t like it, so they literally threw salt all over the garden. That left the ground barren.

Too often, history repeats itself in the worst ways. Reading any historical story, there seems to always be a person who comes up with a solution to a major problem. Granted, what this woman had going with her garden was not going to cure world hunger. However, what it did do was leave 1,600 people less hungry than they were before. Ultimately, when it comes to making the world a better place, every little bit helps.

As much as this woman tried to help people, she’s trending on Twitter for the wrong reasons. After helping feed over 1,600 people, this woman shared a video of herself in tears. She grew her own garden to help feed the hungry. What she did was a true labor of love, as she was giving people free meals. Even something as noble as that was met with backlash. As a result, someone threw salt on this garden, and now the garden can no longer produce food.
