Recently, a woman invited her friends out to celebrate her birthday. The collective of friends went out to an expensive restaurant in order to celebrate. However, things took a negative turn when the bill came. It calls into question whether or not these people were really friends, or if they will be after this. When the bill came, it was $4,600. As a result, some of the friends backed out of splitting the bill. So this led to an argument.
The true test of any relationship tends to boil down to money. Typically, a true friend is someone who is willing to lend money. However, quite the opposite, a bad friend tends to be someone who is always getting money from their friends without paying it back. Many friendships, and even romantic relationships, break down over money. A collective friendship definitely had a tense moment, when celebrating one friend’s birthday at dinner.
When a woman had her birthday dinner at an upscale restaurant, she hoped to have a good time. From the looks of things, her hopes were right. Not only were her friends present, but they also were all dressed up. However, when the bill came, half of the friends said they were not going to split the bill. Instead, they said the woman was “doing too much.” After all, the bill was $4,600 and this led to much backlash from the woman. She began arguing and said she felt, as friends, they should split the bill.
