Woman moved to Houston to be an influencer and is now homeless
Everybody has dreams and, with proper planning, those dreams can come true. That said, a Tallahassee woman had goals of becoming a social media influencer. As a result, she moved to Houston, where there are plenty of social influencers. On January 1, 2024, she moved from Tallahassee to Houston, and was living in a hotel with her three children. Earlier this week, the temperature dropped, and she ran out of money. As a result, she called 911 for help, and she moved into a warming center.
Historically, many people have packed up and moved to pursue their dreams. Sixty years ago, people were moving to Los Angeles for opportunities. Eighty years ago, people were moving to New York City to find higher paying jobs. During this current era, people are often moving to Atlanta and Houston for opportunities. With the social media boom taking place, people are making more money than ever before. However, not everyone is finding immediate success.
One Tallahassee woman bet her farm on moving to Houston to become a social media figure. However, things didn’t fully work out for her. First, she is the mother of three, so she has her children with her. As a result, she moved into a hotel. This past Monday, the woman lost all of her money, which was the same day the temperatures dropped. So, she called 911 and they moved her into a warming center. With temperatures rising, the warming centers are closing, leaving the woman and her kids with no home.
