Everybody has dreams, but not everybody is bold enough to go after them. A big reason why is fear, not a fear of failure, but a fear of looking stupid. A woman named Racquel Bailey, age 32, is risking all of her dignity, but she is doing so for a man who risked all of his.
Racquel Bailey is an actress who believes she just needs that one big break. She believes Tyler Perry is the man who can give it to her, because he’s opened so many doors, before. So, Racquel Bailey took a big risk on a man who took a big risk on himself.
Tyler Perry once gave up a secure job, leaving home with $500 in his pocket, and living out of his car. That was to launch his film company, which has since gone onto make hundreds of millions of dollars. In a similar, yet bolder, move, Racquel Bailey spent $2,000, her rent money, for billboards in Atlanta.
While she lives in New Jersey, Bailey bought billboards near Tyler Perry’s studios, in hopes of catching his attention, as she wants him to cast her for one of his next projects.
