The reason the man is her ex is because she dumped him while he battled cancer. According to reports, the woman said his illness was “damaging” to her mental health.

Epstein’s reason for running is to honor her ex-boyfriend, he is suffering from a rare brain tumor, which is cancerous. Being with him, through this was causing her panic attacks.
