This was the reality for one man and it cost him, dearly. A woman shot him in self defense.

In addition, many women have also taken training on how to use various weapons. As a result, these women are prepared when danger strikes. This man had no idea what he was in for when he targeted this group of people. When the woman took action, he had to be surprised at the outcome.
A video has gone viral on Twitter, showing what happened. Some women were walking with a group of children. When they were crossing the street, a man walked up to them and pointed a gun at them. While the bulk of the group froze, with panic, one woman took action. This woman calmly took a step back and she pulled out a gun of her own. Not only did she shoot the man’s leg, but she kicked his gun away, and rolled him over.
