The things people do and expect to get away with are astounding. Over the past few years, people have gone viral for celebrating at their graduations. When waiting to receive their diplomas and degrees, people have burst into dances and shouting. As a result, some schools are cracking down on people for these excessive displays. While some criticize this action, others feel like something should be done. After all, people begin acting more and more out of character. Yesterday, a woman went viral for wrestling the microphone from an announcer’s hand, during her graduation.
Going through the process of going to school and obtaining a degree is not an easy task. If it was an easy task, more people would do it. As a result, the celebrations that people have, publicly and privately, are their own. There is a lot of stress that people have gone through that few people would understand without going through it themselves. That said, regardless of what this graduating student was going through, she took things too far.
When all one woman had to do was walk across the stage and graduate, she instead caused a scene. She didn’t just dance or shout, however. Instead, she decided to take the microphone from the woman announcing the names. The woman actually succeeded in getting the microphone out of the announcer’s hands. As she took the mic, the woman said she was going to talk now. After that, the woman celebrated her graduation and gave herself props. The crowd and the internet remain shocked.
