Woman sues Travis Scott, after claiming to have suffered injury during his 2019 Rolling Loud performance; Believes Travis ignored police and incited crowd

Woman sues Travis Scott over 2019 Rolling Loud injury

Travis Scott has been getting back into the spotlight lately, after his devastating Astroworld Festival in November, which left 300 injured, and 10 dead. Over a week ago, Travis performed at the Billboard Music Awards, and has had Nike shoe released, in back to back weeks.

Now, more legal troubles surrounding Travis’ concerts, are coming back to bite him. According to TMZ, a woman who has been identified as as Marchelle Love, is suing him. This is due to Travis allegedly inciting a crowd during his 2019 Rolling Loud performance, in Miami.

Love says Travis ignored police in telling the crowd to calm down, and got them fired up even harder. But, stampedes reportedly occurred, which resulted in crowd suffocating, losing consciousness, fighting, and being trampled. Love claims that Travis saw the injuries unfold, much like the Astroworld incidents. Therefore, Love says she sustained a leg injury.

However, A spokesperson for Travis ended up telling TMZ, that this is  “another blatant, cynical attempt to attack Travis.” The stampede also happened due to false reports of gunfire, nearby.

“This incident was related to a false report of a shooting mid-show, completely unrelated to Travis’s performance. The video shows police were informing Travis that the show was stopped for that reason – because of the false report – and he fully cooperated.”
