This morning, this story made national news. A woman woke up during her own funeral. Strange things like these continue to take place. The past decade has seen many unimaginable things end up becoming the norm. So a woman waking up during her own funeral really isn’t surprising. Honestly, this isn’t even the first report of it. However, this was a 76-year-old woman in Ecuador.
The woman was not a victim of a mistaken identity case. What took place is a statistical anomaly, as the woman was pronounced deceased. Obviously, this was not the case, but the woman was unconscious long enough to make it to her funeral. This means, her body was put through preparations to go through the burial process.
Losing a loved one, regardless of their age, is tough. Often, people hope and pray for miracles, to no avail. When they lose their loved one, they hope for a miracle before the curtain is pulled. Most certainly, after that moment of time, there is no coming back. In Ecuador, a woman was believed to be deceased. Her family mourned and she had her funeral. During the funeral, this 76-year-old woman woke up, and got out of her own coffin.
