Woman who was inside home where Pop Smoke was killed speaks out

February 19 will make it two years, since Pop Smoke was shot and killed, in Hollywood Hills. The 20-year-old Brooklyn rapper was the victim of a targeted home invasion, in an Airbnb he was renting. The shooting went down at 4:30am, as it appears that the suspects were able to find Pop’s location due to seeing an Instagram story post, where the rapper posted an Amiri bag, with the Airbnb’s address.

Four suspects have since been arrested and put into custody. Now, a woman, named Amelia Rose, who claims to have been at that Airbnb on that horrific night, is finally speaking out. She took to Instagram to explain that February 19 was the worst night of her life, as she saw the men in ski masks, break into the home.

Rose says that after this shooting, she went through a year of depression, and even went through a suicide attempt. She revealed that she saw the first suspect break in, through the balcony door. Four men were there, with three of them wearing black ski masks. One of the men soon put a gun to Rose’s head, and went on to take her bag that had her cell phone and passport.

Three suspects soon ran to the bathroom that Pop was in, as he and Rose soon exchanged shocked looks. Soon, she heard a shot, and saw Pop on the floor. Pop soon supposedly ended up getting hit in the head with a pair of shoes, and put a gun near his chest. Pop was able to get up and run, but two more shots were fired.

Rose went on to say that she found Pop laying on the floor. She wanted to call police, but didn’t have her phone, due to the robbers taking her bag.

Rose went on to call out Mike Dee as well, who was a very close friend of Pop’s. Rose explained how odd Mike was acting that day, especially when he was on the phone. This led her to believe that Mike was the one who helped set this home invasion up. Rose also believes that detectives will find out information about Mike, and put him in prison.

Rose also denied the rumors that Pop was naked, when the robbers entered the home. She added that they didn’t have motives to steal anything, but to kill Pop. This comes after reports that 21-year-old suspect, Corey Walker, told the 15-year-old shooter, to just hit Pop in the head with a vase, and not to kill him.
