Look at Woody McClain, he is another inspiring story, reminding people to never give up on themselves. A year ago, the rising entertainer was a virtual unknown. Early this year, Woody McClain rose to stardom, playing Bobby Brown on BET’s The New Edition Story.
Irv Gotti also partnered with BET and he saw Woody McClain’s performance. He cast him to play Slim on “Tales,” the third episode of tonight’s episode. He plays opposite Ashley, portrayed by the second Clair Kyle, Jennifer Nicole Freeman, from “My Wife and Kids.”
With the meat of the story not even locked in, Woody McClain has already won social media over. It helps that they already loved him as Bobby Brown. Tonight’s episode already had cameos from DC Young Fly, Lil Duval, and Jermaine Dupri, in addition to the stars of tonight’s show.
