A pleasant surprise comeback in 2013 has been Wyclef Jean, who released his April Showers mixtape last week. On this comeback, Wyclef Jean is working with a new crop of artists and producers, including Choppa Zoe and Young Chop. The game has definitely changed it and with the return of Wyclef Jean, it is set to change some more.
Yesterday, Wyclef Jean appeared on MTV’s “Week in Jams.” While Wyclef Jean appeared on the show, he talked to Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy about the thing he had around his neck, something he called the gat-tar. Wyclef Jean explained he took a recycled firearm and placed it on a guitar, taking away the violence and replacing it with music.
Wyclef Jean stopped by Shade 45’s “Sway in the Morning” with Sway Calloway to delve deeper into what he was talking about. In this interview, Wyclef Jean further explained the gat-tar he rocks. Reflecting back, Wyclef Jean also spoke on The Fugees and the comparisons he has received to Bob Marley.
