Wyclef Jean reveals what it would take for a Fugees reunion and talks past beef with LL Cool J on Hot 97 [VIDEO]

Few are willing to give Wyclef Jean the props he deserves as a legend in the game. In the mid-1990s, he created The Fugees and their music took over the streets and radio. The beauty of it was that, in the middle of the gangsta rap craze, they won by being individuals.

From The Fugees, Lauryn Hill was born, and she became a music icon off only one album. Her single, “Ex Factor,” from 1998, was sampled twice this single, producing hits for Drake and Cardi B. Then, Wyclef is also instrumental in Beyonce’s rise, remixing Destiny’s Child’s first hit.

Wyclef Jean has managed to stand the test of time and he stopped by Hot 97 to tell Ebro’s crew, Laura Stylez and Rosenberg, how this has happened. He explained what it would take for The Fugees to reunite. But, he also touched on his past with LL Cool J, as he was drawn into the Canibus beef.
