All year long, XXXTentacion has been fighting for recognition. He went about it the wrong way, when he began dissing Drake on his social media profiles. Now, XXXTentacion has made the right moves to become a star in the game.
This week, XXXTentacion delivered the “Look At Me” music video and he challenged a lot of minds. It’s no secret that race relations are at an all-time low since the Civil Rights movement. Kids like him have grown up seeing this, during their formative years, so it’s all they know.
XXXTentacion received a lot of backlash for his imagery of showing a child, a Caucasian kid, being lynched. Because of this, X has felt the need to speak out. He explained, in a series of video clips, what he meant by showing this imagery, which he intended to provoke thought, not more violence, only equality.
