XXXTentacion was tragically shot and killed in home area of Broward County, in June 2018. It’s been three years already, as fans continue to honor the late rapper, by streaming his music. He was only 20 at the time of his death.
One of his biggest projects to date, is his debut studio album, “17.” This album was put out in 2017, as it debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. It was led by the singles “Revenge,” “Jocelyn Flores,” and “F*ck Love,” feat. Trippie Redd. 11 tracks were included in total.
Now, 17 has reached another impressive milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now reached over 5 billion streams on Spotify. Currently, it is also 2x platinum in the US. It also has platinum certifications in Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, and New Zealand. The 5 billion streams mark on Spotify continues to show that X’s memory is alive and well, and shows how much of a star he was and how much bigger he could’ve been.
X’s last album ended up being released in December 2019, which was “Bad Vibes Forever.” That ended up debuting at number five on the Billboard 200.
