XXXTentacion was murdered in his hometown of Broward County, Florida last June. The fans of the late rapper are still mourning. Yesterday, it was also revealed that his mom Cleopatra Bernard said that she wants the BMW i8 that he was killed in returned to her.
Last summer, it was announced that X had a son named Gekyume on the way. Now, X’s Instagram page just announced that the boy has arrived, as his baby mama Jenesis Sanchez just went through labor. Bernard said last summer that Gekyume is X’s “final gift.”
A statement regarding Gekyume was announced by Bernard and Jenesis Sanchez, per XXL. It discussed the meaning of the baby’s name and how special it is to X.
“XXXTentacion’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, and Jenesis Sanchez are thrilled to announce the arrival of baby boy Gekyume Onfroy. He was born January 26, 2019.
We’re happy to confirm that Baby and Mother are healthy.
Gekyume’s name is derived from a word X created prior to his passing. It means ‘a different state’ or ‘next’ universe of thought. XXXTentacion specifically chose this name for his first born son; his family is honored to fulfill his wish and shower baby Gekyume with love.”
XXXTentacion also released his debut album “Skins” in December. It was lead by the single “Bad” and included features from Kanye West and Travis Barker.
