Early in “Empire’s” run, it was made clear Lucious (Terrence Howard) cut some corners, to say the least. He was a man who wanted it all and was willing to pay the price. Allowing his wife, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) to go to prison and divorcing her proved this.
Now, details of Lucious’ past are being fleshed out and Shine (Xzibit) was revealed as one of his former associates. Coming as no surprise, Shine is no longer on good terms with Lucious. Because of the dirt he has on Lucious, Cookie spoke to Shine on his behalf.
Shine’s only price was to be allowed at Hakeem’s (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) wedding. His reason for going was to rub shoulders with music industry heavyweights. The fans on Twitter loved Xzibits intro into the series and Hakeem’s wedding.
