Yana, NOT YANA! Twitter reacts to Damon Cross having shot his own daughter and killed her, over Lucious, as fans say she deserved better #Empire #EmpireFinale

This season was advertised as “Empire’s” final season, though new characters were still introduced. Last season saw Damon Cross (Wood Harris) come on the scene and nearly took Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) from Lucious (Terrence Howard). Season six saw his daughter arrive.

Lucious went on the run from Damon and met Yana (Kiandra Richardson), his daughter. A cancer patient, Yana is one with nature, while Damon runs his illicit businesses. Her romance with Lucious leads to threats, but Lucious ended it to work with her.

Promising Damon he’d keep it professional, Lucious did backslide, a few times, with Yana. Breaking things off with her, a final kiss Lucious gave Yana, which Damon witnessed, right after her huge performance, saw him try to kill Lucious, but Yana took the bullet, instead. The fans on Twitter were shocked and saddened by this ending.
