YFN Lucci Given No Bond in Atlanta Murder Case; Victim Was Reportedly With Lucci and His Crew as He Was Hit With Return Gunfire in Gang Shootout and Then Dumped Onto a Street

YFN Lucci has been trending all week as on Tuesday, he was reveled to be a wanted man by Atlanta police. This is for his alleged involvement in the murder of 28-year-old James Adams on December 10. He has since been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The 911 stated that a man was hanging out of a car before he was found dead in the street with a bullet wound in his head.

According to TMZ, Lucci had his first court appearance on Wednesday and was denied bond. Adams was also reportedly part of Lucci’s crew. Prior to his murder, he was captured on video yelling “We’re fitting to f*** this city up, man! Yeah, we’re f***ing this city up!” In this situation, police added that Lucci and his crew were riding around in an area of Atlanta where a rival gang was.

The SUV that Lucci and the others were in “entered an oncoming lane of traffic and stopped on the left shoulder, allowing Adams and the front passenger of the vehicle, Ra’von Boyd, to fire multiple gunshots from assault rifle style firearms at people in the rival gang territory.” Kevin Wright was shot one time while Adams was hit by return gunfire. From that point, “Adams was manually ejected from the vehicle a short distance away — his body left [on] the street.”

Lucci’s attorney, Drew Findling, has since maintained that the rapper shouldn’t be charged. He believes that there is no evidence for the charges in this case.

“Our review of the initial evidence made available to us indicates there is no basis for any criminal charges against Rayshawn Bennett. We will continue our own independent investigation on his behalf.”

17-year-old Leroy Pitts was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. 23-year-old Boyd was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
