YG announces new “Pray For Me” album, after latest release of “Scared Money” single

YG to release new “Pray For Me” album
Last week, YG released his first single of 2022, “Scared Money.” This included huge features from Moneybagg Yo and J. Cole, as well. On the same day, YG also released the visuals for this single. This release also hinted that fans may be getting a new album from the Compton rapper.
YG has now revealed that he will be releasing his “Pray For Me” album, this year, per Rap-Up. In a recent interview with Power 106’s “Power Mornings,” YG also spoke on what fans can expect from this forthcoming project.
“It’s just the growth of me, my headspace, what I’m on in life,” YG explained. “And I think the whole COVID pandemic shit, I hated it, but I also look at it as like this shit kinda helped me get to where I’m at mentally. This music is just gonna be my truth, as far as my life right now.”
YG’s last album came back in October 2020, with “My Life 4Hunnid.” That project debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart. It was led by singles such as “FTP,” “Swag,” and “Out On Bail.” Appearances included Chris Brown, Tyga, Lil Wayne, and more.
