The past year has been phenomenal for YG, as he saw his popularity jump from a bit bigger than local to international. For almost four years, YG has been signed to Def Jam, but did not begin to receive much attention until 2012. This was when they paired him with Young Jeezy, who signed him to CTE.
YG then put together what became My Krazy Life, which is regarded as a modern West Coast classic. His career has reached new heights behind the “My Hitta” single with Rich Homie Quan and Jeezy. Outside of this single, YG also has the Drake-assisted “Who Do You Love?” record that is impacting now.
This morning, there was a rumor of DJ Mustard getting slapped and YG getting robbed in Oakland that has taken over the internet. YG caught wind of the story and he has one request… “STOP THE LIES.” None of it is true and he took to Instagram to let the people know that.
