Last night, YG brought it, when he, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Nicki Minaj performed “Big Bank,” at the BET Awards. The Compton artist, YG, is an interesting figure. While it’s not fair to categorize him as a one hit wonder, he’s remained popular, over hits that dropped in 2014.
Somehow, YG has managed to hang around, despite a sophomore album that didn’t do as well as his debut. With his third album, YG is making sure its his biggest release yet. That BET Awards performance really set the stage.
This afternoon, Def Jam is back with the official album roll out information. The summer of 2018 is indeed going to be hot, as YG will have tons of new music out. His new album, Stay Dangerous, will be dropping on August 3.
