YG is Giving Pairs of His Block Runner Sneakers, To Men in Los Angeles, Who’ve Been Released From Prison on Parole [VIDEO]

YG is back on the scene as on Friday, he released his collab album “Kommunity Service,” with fellow California rapper, Mozzy. The two put out 10 tracks as it also included appearances from Young M.A., Tyga, and more. Now, YG continues to give back to his city of Los Angeles and that was evident on Friday.

According to TMZ, the Compton native visited Amity Foundation House Friday in downtown LA to give out airs of his Block Runner sneakers to men who were recently released from prison on parole. These men are also living at this foundation house until they get back on their feet.

YG emphasized how important having a pair of shoes is everyday and that’s why he wanted to contribute here. He also added that these men are now out of prison, trying to figure out life, and want to do the right things at this point. YG also wanted to use his celebrity influence to be able to help these men some how and these shoes were definitely a solid move.

Just last month, YG was giving out these pairs of sneakers the homeless in LA as well. This was in the Skid Row area. Check out YG speaking on his latest charitable effort in LA here.
