YG to release “Knocka” single on April 26
On Wednesday, YG announced that his first single of 2024 would be arriving this Friday. This is “Knocka,” as the Compton rapper also unveiled the full cover art for it. Here, YG is seen posing in front of many large sound speakers.
Furthermore, Knocka will appear on YG’s third installment of his “Just Re’d Up” mixtape series. This project will be released sometime this summer. This mixtape series by YG initially began in 2011, as the sequel went on to be released in 2013. Both of those projects helped him soar into becoming one of the hottest new west coast artists.
Moreover, this upcoming release by YG comes after he teamed up with Tyga for various singles, in 2023. Those included “Platinum,” “West Coast Weekend,” as well as “Party T1me.” Furthermore, YG and Tyga also performed at Rolling Loud California together, in March, in the Inglewood area of Los Angeles. As a result, many anticipate a joint album with Tyga being on the way. That would be YG’s second joint album since 2021, as he linked up with Mozzy, that year, for “Kommunity Service.”
