Yo Gotti signs Mozzy to CMG
Mozzy has been one of the most underrated rappers in the industry, ever since 2017. The Sacramento rapper has released plenty of solid albums and mixtapes over this period of time. Mozzy has also collaborated with other fan-favorites, such as Ty Dolla $ign, Blac Youngsta, YFN Lucci, and ScHoolboy Q.
Now, Mozzy has reached another huge accolade, in his music career. At an event that Yo Gotti hosted tonight for his CMG record label, he announced that Mozzy is now part of the team.
Mozzy went on to Instagram as well, to thank Gotti for welcoming him to CMG.
“COCAINE MONEY GANG!! Appreciate the opportunity big dawg. @YoGotti”
Mozzy’s last project came in September 2021, with his “Untreated Trauma” mixtape. This contained 10 tracks, with collaborations from YFN Lucci, Celly Ru, and more. In May, Mozzy also released the collab album “Kommunity Service,” with YG. That project had 10 songs, as well, as the California rappers worked with Tyga, Young M.A, Blxst, Ty Dolla $ign, and others.
Last week, Gotti also released his new “CM10: Free Game” album. This was a double disc project, as this is the final installment of his CM series. It was also hinted that this could be Gotti’s last album overall, as well.
