Yo Gotti talks “5 Star Chick” and “I Am” with “Sway in the Morning” on Shade 45 [VIDEO]

Right now, the hottest song out is “Act Right” by Yo Gotti featuring Young Jeezy and YG, which is dominating the radio. To a lot of people, Yo Gotti is a newer artist, but he is a veteran and the mixtape followers should know that. Holding Memphis down over the past twelve years, Yo Gotti is a legend.

Yo Gotti is best-known for his mixtape releases, which have spawned some singles that have become major hits. Among the singles from Yo Gotti that have gone from mixtape success to major hits include “5 Star Chick.” The remix, which featured Gucci Mane, Trina, and Nicki Minaj, helped launch Nicki’s mainstream career.

Almost one week ago, Yo Gotti uploaded the above photo to Instagram. He talked with Sway Calloway and the interview was released today. Yo Gotti explained exactly what a “5 Star Chick” is and he also talked about I Am, which will be his second major label album.
