Good without a record deal, Yo Gotti has independently pushed his music for several years. Because of the numbers he manages from an independent scale, Yo Gotti has had offers from several major labels. However, Yo Gotti always remained reluctant to sign a major deal.
When L.A. Reid expressed interest in adding Yo Gotti and his Cocaine Muzik Group to his platform at Epic Records, a deal was made. This deal came with $2 million and placed Yo Gotti into a partnership with Epic Records for his label. The first product of this deal is coming with I Am.
Yo Gotti is currently making his media rounds and he stopped by Invasion Radio to talk to DJ Green Lantern recently. In their interview, Yo Gotti talked about bringing his cars to every city and his deal with Epic Records.
