Over the past few years, Yo Gotti has been making a name for himself on the independent scene, releasing several albums and mixtapes. However, Yo Gotti was signed by Polo Grounds and began working on his Live From the Kitchen debut. As he has worked on this album, Yo Gotti has kept the mixtape scene hot.
With the spring season almost here, Yo Gotti has lined up additional work for himself. In a little over a month, on May 3, Yo Gotti will launch his “Road to Riches” tour. Despite not releasing an official debut album, Yo Gotti has remained connected to his fans through his independent releases. Yo Gotti has become one of the biggest names in the rap game.
The tour is not the only project Yo Gotti has in the works. In addition to the tour, Yo Gotti is also working on a new mixtape, CM7. During an interview with AllHipHop.com, Yo Gotti said he wants to do a tour in venues where he can be close to the fans. Yo Gotti does not gauge his success by the charts, or numbers, it is more about the person-to-person with him.
Pitbull will appear on the tour, along with Yo Gotti’s CMG artist, Zed Zilla.
