Nobody could touch T.I. back when he was on fire from 2006 through 2008. His consistency made him the biggest artist in the game. The same can be said for the run Ja Rule was on from 2000 through 2002 and his consistency gained him a place on the top of the charts.

Ja Rule had Irv Gotti in his corner and he helped make a lot of those big deals happen for his artist. Until last year, the two best friends separated their interests and Irv Gotti helped make deals for other artists. Nicki Minaj, Vado, and Drake are among the people who worked alongside Irv Gotti and landed big deals.

T.I. was recently on a private jet with Irv Gotti and Steve Madden, so it’s clear big money was on the table. Seeing how he is getting so much of it anyway, T.I. didn’t hold his tongue. He made it clear he was on the jet with the two moguls and working on some big deals.
