Most consider the end of Roc-A-Fella Records to be in 2004, when Dame Dash left the label. However, Roc-A-Fella actually existed for nearly four more years. In 2008, Jay-Z left the label, effectively ending it.

Prior to this, Jay-Z said he was focusing solely on Young Chris, as he had all the makings of a star. At the time, he, as one half of Young Gunz, had been around for five years. It looked like it was his time, until it wasn’t.

Young Chris recently sat down with Big Face Gary and the two spoke on the end of Roc-A-Fella Records. When discussing how it ended, and Jay-Z, Chris did admit he felt that Jay could’ve done more with him. He also spoke on his friendship with Wale, and much more.
