Young Dolph accessory to murder suspect Shundale Barnett posts bond

Young Dolph shooting suspect Shundale Barnett released from jail

2023 will mark two years, since Young Dolph was shot and killed, in his hometown of Memphis. Since then, four suspects have been arrested and placed in custody. That came after two men were seen shooting at Dolph, while he was purchasing cookies from Makeda’s Homemade Cookies.

However, one of the suspects has been released, from jail. According to Fox 13 Memphis, it’s being reported that Shundale Barnett was bonded out on Christmas Eve. He was initially arrested at an Indiana gas station, in December 2021. Barnett was being held at Tarrant County Jail in Fort Worth, Texas.

Barnett was initially charged with accessory to murder, after the fact. At the time of the shooting, he was sitting in the passenger seat, with Justin Johnson, another Dolph murder suspect. Johnson and Cornelius Smith are both facing 15-60 more years in prison, after new charges were added. Those are for first-degree murder, weapons possession, and theft.

Dolph’s first posthumous album was also released, earlier this month. This was “Paper Route Frank,” as 13 new songs were included. 2 Chainz, Key Glock, and Gucci Mane were among the featured artists.
