Dolph was shot and killed, on November 17, at Makeda’s Cookies. This was one of Dolphs’ favorite establishments in South Memphis, as he purchased cookies there frequently. He was also spotted at Makeda’s, a week before the shooting.

Two suspects initially pulled up to the business, and both fired shots at Dolph while inside. Both men wore grey sweatpants, with navy and black hoodies. Both also sported COVID-19-like masks, to cover their faces. They have yet to be arrested, but the alleged Mercedes-Benz getaway car was reportedly found three miles from Makeda’s in a residential neighborhood.
