Following several delays, Young Jeezy is finally preparing to release TM103. The album has been in the works since early 2009. Since Young Jeezy last released a new album, several things have changed. In 2008, Young Jeezy released The Recession, which landscaped the economy, at the time, which has not changed much in three years.
However, what has changed is how the American citizens are handling things. In 2009, the Tea Party movement emerged. Following several disputes in Washington, DC, a separate group of people came together to form Occupy Wall Street. Tired of the corporate greed, the people in New York City went to Wall Street and began protesting.
Despite not releasing albums during this period of time, Young Jeezy is well aware of what has been going on. During an interview with XXL, Young Jeezy discussed the protests, saying he would protest because the people need their money. Young Jeezy went on to compare the Occupy movement to that of the Civil Rights Movement.
