A little over two months since he released TM103, Young Jeezy has been pushing his material as hard as he can. The opening months of 2012 have been dominated by sounds of Young Jeezy. When he is not performing his material, he is promoting his music videos. The latest release from Young Jeezy was “Leave You Alone.” The Ne-Yo-assisted track is the fifth single from the album, hitting radio two years after the lead single, “Lose My Mind.”

Last week, the official music video for “Leave You Alone” was released. During his interview with VIBE, the people interviewing Young Jeezy joked about the song being about dating older women. A few days ago, Young Jeezy met Betty White for the first time. Their picture circulated the internet, appearing on several websites. Young Jeezy said the two talked and Betty White told him she was a big fan of his, as he was of “The Golden Girls.”

Growing up and living with his aunt, Young Jeezy revealed all she watched was “The Golden Girls” and “People’s Court.” Because she watched those shows, Young Jeezy watched those shows. Over time, he became just as big of a fan of the shows as his aunt did. Looking back on old television episodes, memories are made, which have sentimental value. In the eyes of many, Young Jeezy was a memory. Several release dates came and went and Young Jeezy’s singles were not sticking. But, when his album was finally released, Young Jeezy took over the game again.

When asked if he was worried about his sales, Young Jeezy said the business aspect was the only tough thing for him. In two months, the album went gold and Jeezy said he is confident in the album going platinum. The most-popular single off the album has been “I Do,” but getting a music video for it will be easier said than done. Jay-Z is one of the most-elusive figures in the game, releasing music of his own rarely and randomly doing collaborations. Meanwhile, Andre 3000 does not do music videos anymore, already being replaced in Beyonce’s “Party” by J. Cole.

Young Jeezy said scheduling is the main thing standing in the way of an “I Do” music video. Meanwhile, there are rumors of him wanting Kanye West for the “I Do” remix. The two rappers have been sending each other emails, as Kanye West does not have a phone, and Young Jeezy admitted to wanting him on the remix. But, he understands how busy West is and how hard he would work to get his verse back to him in a timely manner. Speaking on his It’s The World album, Young Jeezy said the album is comparable to his commercial debut and he wants it released by summer 2012.

VIBE also asked Young Jeezy about his mixtape with T.I. Given all the work they have done together, over the past few months, Jeezy said they might as well drop one. But, T.I. is currently working on his Trouble Man album and he is working on his next album, aside from the It’s The World project with CTE. Once things clear up, Young Jeezy said they will see if they can put a mixtape together.
