Hip Hop Vibe started 2013 off in style, interviewing Young Maylay. A legend in Los Angeles, Young Maylay remains humble and focused on his upcoming album, Hogg Tied & Duct Taped. Best-known to the world for his role as Carl “CJ” Johnson in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Young Maylay is known on the West Coast for being a member of WC’s Big Swang label.
Young Maylay has been working with several other West Coast legends, including MC Eiht, as he appeared on his Allstarz & Strapz, Vol. 3 mixtape. While he is a legend, Young Maylay also gave props to the new West Coast artists, Tyga, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, and the many others. Still, Young Maylay has more left in the tank, himself.
A popular Twitter poster, Young Maylay updated the world about his long-awaited projects. For those who are awaiting the Hogg Tied & Duct Taped album, Young Maylay gave them an updated. Young Maylay revealed his new album, Hogg Tied & Duct Taped, will be released sometime before June.
