Young Sam prepares “The Perfect Prescription” for July 31 date, releases artwork and track listing [PHOTO]

The future of the West Coast hip hop scene is in good hands with guys like Young Sam pushing the culture forward. At a time when a lot of people said Los Angeles had fallen off, the city’s hip hop scene became very self-contained. This is when Young Sam took over the streets with his mixtapes.

Since then, Young Sam has caught mainstream attention and he even appeared on the popular BET series, “106 & Park.” Always going over and beyond, Young Sam is more than a mixtape rapper, he has a lot of clout within the industry. Still, he keeps the streets hot with his mixtape releases.

Young Sam has remained somewhat silent since dropping Trapfornia 2 and now he is preparing to come back with The Perfect Prescription. The new mixtape has a release date set for July 31. Expect some leaks soon, but tonight Young Sam has leaked the official cover for the mixtape, hosted by DJ Louie Styles.
