Relations between Lil Wayne and Birdman have gone from bad to worse, as their situation continues. Few would’ve guessed Birdman would ever have these problems coming from Lil Wayne. As odd as it sounds, Wayne now despises Cash Money Records and his “father.”
While Lil Wayne’s artists, Drake and Nicki Minaj, are doing their best to stay out of the situation, Birdman’s team is with him. Even before his issues with Lil Wayne went public, Birdman was seen with Young Thug more. Young Thug has stepped up in a major way during this time.
Miami became a haven for Cash Money Records after Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans in 2005 and they still all spend time there. When Lil Wayne made plans for the Sorry 4 Tha Wait 2 mixtape release party at LIV, he made it clear Birdman was not invited. But, Young Thug let it be known that he would be there regardless and if Wayne had a problem with it, he could step to him about it.
