Young Thug explains his label situation MTV News [VIDEO]

The 2014 BET Awards had all the biggest names in hip hop flooding the red carpet and Cash Money Records held it down. Since their 1991 formation, Cash Money has defied the odds and taken the game over. Their most-recent star is also their most-debated in Young Thug.

A native of Atlanta, Young Thug came up with Gucci Mane and was introduced as a member of his 1017 camp. However, with Gucci Mane going to prison and attention shifting elsewhere, Young Thug began hanging out with Birdman. Soon, both Young Thug and Young Scooter were said to be YMCMB.
