Young Thug granted $21,000 bond, allowed to travel outside the US on tour while awaiting trial

In 2013, Young Thug took over the mixtape scene on the strength of working with Gucci Mane. The world really developed strong affinity for the music Young Thug made. When Gucci Mane went to prison, Birdman took Young Thug under his wing.

Soon, Young Thug was billed as Birdman’s replacement for Lil Wayne. In the time before Young Thug was dealing with Cash Money Records, many said he sounded like Lil Wayne, only with more twang. A whole year later, it seems like Young Thug is in trouble and Lil Wayne is with Jay Z.

Young Thug was initially arrested in connection to the April shooting that took place in Atlanta at Lil Wayne’s tour bus. When his home was searched, Young Thug was found with guns and drugs, opening up even more charges. Via Twitter, WSB-TV in Atlanta revealed Young Thug is a free man after being arrested this week and he is allowed to tour outside of the United States, while awaiting trial.
