Young Thug talks “Best Friend,” Plies beef, and “Slime Season” with DJ Holiday on Streetz 94.5
Back in early 2014, Young Thug completed his rise from the mixtape level to the mainstream. He went from being all over the Atlanta scene to working with Birdman and Cash Money Records. In the end, he remained an artist on his own, joining 300 Entertainment.
Working under Lyor Cohen, the man who opened the door for Jay Z is obviously a good position to be in. What wasn’t a good position to be in for Young Thug was Plies putting his daughter on his Instagram. It led to a beef and one of last week’s biggest topics.
Young Thug granted DJ Holiday a rare interview at Streetz 94.5 and he discussed some of this. He spoke on the “Best Friend” single and the beef with Plies. With yesterday being theĀ Slime Season mixtape release, he obviously dedicated much of his time to also speaking on it.
