YSL RICO trial attorney arrested on gang-related charges
Young Thug’s YSL RICO trial finally began in late November, after being delayed since January 2023, as a result of jury selection issues. Moreover, the trial was paused in December, and resumed in January, at the conclusion of the holidays.
Meanwhile, a major development in the YSL case has now surfaced once again, on Friday. According to investigative reporter Mark Winne WSB-TV 2 in Atlanta, an attorney for one of the defendants in the trial has been arrested on gang-related charges. This is Nicole Fegan, who represented Tenquarius Mender. Mender was initially severed from the main RICO trial in early 2023.
Furthermore, Fegan is said to have been arrested as a result of information of her contacting a suspect in a September 2022 shooting of two men at Williams Street and Baker Street in Northwest Atlanta. Moreover, nee of the victims went on to pass away.
Fegan reportedly called a suspect that she was not representing, after he had a warrant for his arrest. She went on to tell him to “dispose of his phone as police were going to arrest him.” Fegan’s old social media posts also vent viral, where she’s seen showing off guns and rapping various lyrics.
As a result, Fegan is being charged with participating in criminal street gang activity and criminal solicitation to commit the offense of tampering with evidence. She was arrested in Gwinnett County for these charges, and has since been transferred to the Fulton County Jail. However, she has a $40,000 bond that can be posted.
