Yung Miami continues to be one of the most popular female rappers in the industry. She and her close friend, JT, are still together as the group, City Girls, as fans wait for the Miami duo to release new music soon. In the meantime though, Miami continues to interact heavily with her 908,500 Twitter followers.
On Saturday night, Miami randomly asked her followers why they always call her by her first name, Caresha. Many replied that because this is her first name while others mentioned how her close friend, Saucy Santana, was the one who got people to use her first name more. In one Instagram Live session, he said “Caresha, Please.”
Miami will definitely be called Caresha during her entire career at this point. For many fans, they call her by her first name to feel like they actually know her. This is also due to the fact that Miami takes the time to interact with fans on social media daily.
As for new City Girls music, they last put out new music with their sophomore album, “City On Lock,” last summer. That project debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard 200 chart and was led by singles such as “Jobs” and “P*ssy Talk” feat. Doja Cat. Hopefully, a new album is on the way soon as in the fall, JT and Miami built more momentum with their appearance on Moneybagg Yo’s “Said Sum” remix.
