Currently, he is facing murder charges, and members of the Atlanta police department decided to walk out, in protest of his firing, and arrest. That has sparked outrage, with many, but Georgia Law Enforcement launched a fundraiser for Rolfe, and they have already raised $57,000, on his behalf.
