In Lafayette, Louisiana, a black man was holding a knife, walking down the street. Soon, the police arrived, and began tasering the man, following him, as the taser didn't have an impact on him. As the man walked towards a gas station, the police officers opened fire, shooting him several times, killing him, and three officers stood over his body. Witnesses say that there were over ten police officers harassing the man.

Ashley Nicole took her sister out to Daquiris Supreme, in Lafayette, Louisiana, on her birthday, hoping to have a good time. But, in her detailed Facebook post, she makes it clear that didn't happen, as there were problems from the start, as the bouncer wouldn't let them enter, due to wearing tank tops. The problem arose when Ashley Nicole recounts that a white woman was allowed to enter, wearing a tank top, also adding that the manager didn't initially have a mask on, when an argument began, and the bouncer told them to "GET THE F*CK OUT OF HERE," also saying the man wanted to fight the women. When she left them a review, on Facebook, Daquiris Supreme blocked them.
