Tensions are high, especially in these fast food establishments. First, there are the overworked employees who really don’t want to be there. Second, there are the frustrated customers, likely already enduring stressful moments. Third, normally there’s always some person just being in the way. It’s not clear what provoked this woman working, but she was ready to scrap. However, the woman she was trying to get couldn’t have cared less.
Since 2020, it’s become increasingly harder to get people to work minimum wage jobs. As a result, the people who do show up to work are doing multiple things at once. In fast food, many customers have pointed out workers going from cleaning the bathrooms to preparing meals. Obviously, situations like that call into question the cleanliness of the establishment. However, the only reason the people are working like this is because there’s sometimes only two or three people working, overall.
Working a low paying job with more customers than workers can be stressful. One Dunkin establishment saw an employee completely lose it. Apparently, the woman she was going at said something to upset the woman who was working. After all, that’s the only thing to explain how irate and hostile she was. The woman was trying to attack the female customer. Other employees came to hold her back, meanwhile the customer continued to sip on her drink and simply took a step back.
