FBG Ducks’s mother gets a tattoo portrait of him
Grief is one of the hardest situations to deal with. Aside from accepting life without your loved one, finding ways to show tribute can help ease the loss. This was the case for LaSheena Weekly the mother of slain Chicago rapper FBG Duck, who decided to get a tattoo portrait of him on her arm. The permanent ink comes as a memorial gesture following the guilty verdict in his homicide case earlier this year.

FBG Duck is another dominant sound of Chicago Drill music that will never fade away. Gaining popularity with his 2018 single “Slide”, his fanbase grew almost instantly. Other popular singles include “I’m From 63rd”, “Exposing Me Remix” and “Chicago Legends”. Before his untimely passing he released the single “Dead B”, following his 2018 mixtapes.
At only 26-years old, the Chicago rapper lost his life, but his mother is making sure his name lives on forever. After a lengthy court trial, six men were found guilty on multiple murder charges in relation to FBG Duck’s passing. Shortly after the verdict his mother, released a heartfelt message. “I just want to thank the United States Government for doing a very good job..”. In the video she shared via Instagram, she states this is only the first session for the new tattoo, with more to come.
