Megan Thee Stallion’s Debut Studio Album, ‘Good News,’ Officially Goes Gold

Megan Thee Stallion finally released her long-awaited debut studio album, ‘Good News,‘ back on November 13. This project was gaining a lot of momentum as it was already led by hot singles such as “Savage” remix featuring Beyonce, “Girls In The Hood,” and “Don’t Stop” feat. Young Thug.

Good News went on to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and has since become a fan-favorite. It’s momentum has continued into 2021 as well as it has now been certified gold by the RIAA in the US, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 500,000 total units.

Other records on the album that have started to become in heavy rotation since the album’s release have been “Body” and “Cry Baby” feat. DaBaby. The Cry Baby video is on the way and as of now, the visuals for Body have accumulated over 64 million views on YouTube.

As of now, Good News is currently No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Expect other records to begin picking up steam from Good News such as “Movie” feat. Lil Durk and “Sugar Baby” as well.
