2 Chainz ft. Lil Baby – “Kingpen Ghostwriter” [VIDEO]

2 Chainz delivers Kingpen Ghostwriter video with Lil Baby

Ten years ago, 2 Chainz was in the midst of one of the greatest hip hop stories in history. In 2011, the name “2 Chainz” was new to people, but the name “Tity Boi” was well-known. As Tity Boi, 2 Chainz was well-known as a member of Disturbing Tha Peace. In countless Ludacris videos, there he was making cameos. On the albums, there are plenty of features from Tity Boi. As one half of Playaz Circle, Tity Boi got a shot at the limelight, in 2007, two years after DTP’s prime.

With Ludacris shifting his focus to acting and business, DTP saw its positioning slip. For the guys like Tity Boi, who were still on the roster, some moves had to be made. In 2011, Tity Boi went on a mixtape run, changed his name to 2 Chainz, and bought himself out of his DTP contract. Completely betting on himself, 2 Chainz took the game over. During the summer of 2012, 2 Chainz had the first anthem, with his single, “No Lie,” featuring Drake, which Chris Brown referenced on Game’s “Celebration.”

Recently, 2 Chainz returned with his newest album, Dope Don’t Sell Itself. The album has been a favorite among fans and 2 Chainz keeps dropping singles. This week, 2 Chainz dropped the latest single, “Kingpen Ghostwriter,” which features Lil Baby. The music video premiered a couple of days ago.
