Ashanti sings National Anthem at Big 12 Championship Game

Ashanti has been trending this week, after appearing on The Breakfast Club. It was there that she claimed that a producer that she previously worked with sexually harassed her. He wanted Ashanti to shower with him, and he would give her free songs to do so. However, Ashanti didn’t, and that resulted in the producer wanting to charge her $40,000 for each song instead. Therefore, fans quickly took to social media to support the legendary R&B singer.

On Saturday, Ashanti also had social media talking. This was due to singing the National Anthem, prior to the Big 12 Championship Game. This featured Texas Christian University and Kansas State University, in Arlington, TX. Kansas State went on to defeat TCU, 31-28, in overtime. TCU was the number three ranked team in the country, as many now believe their College Football Playoff hopes could possibly be over.

As for Ashanti’s performance, fans loved the effort she put in with the national anthem. She was also seen sporting a white shirt, with a pink and white jacket over it.
